Summer Coaching Camp 2017

Summer Holiday Coaching Camp Highfield Park w/c 31st July, W/c 7th August and w/c 21st August To book go to www.cityyouthfc.co.uk/book Our holiday courses aim to be fun and educational and are open to boys and girls aged 5-13. Players of all abilities are welcome to attend. We offer prizes for player of the week, most improved player and for the person who follows our themed days the best. Boys Small Sided Tournament Coordinator The Club’s Boys Small Sided Tournament has been running very successfully for over 20 seasons. It is a highly respected part of the local youth football calendar, is a good fund raiser for the club (helping to keep our fees down to some of the lowest in the country) and provides our own teams with a lot of enjoyment. However, if the 2018 tournament is to go ahead the club needs someone to step forward and take on the overall coordination of the organisation of the event. This will involve advertising the tournament, collecting entries, preparing the programme, issuing information to entries, ensuring that everything is in place for the actual tournament. Assistant Referee Workshop September 2017

For all the people who have indicated that they would be prepared to help out their teams by running the line, here is your chance to get some first class instruction on how it should be done. World Cup Assistant Referee Phil Sharp has now confirmed the first date of the Assistant Referee Session to be held at Nicholas Breakspear School. It will take place on Monday 11th September from 19:00 to 21:30 hours in the main hall at the School. Girls only Under 7 Group (Year 2) Sessions start September

Girls only Under 7 Group (Year 2) We will be starting our Girls Only Year 2 (our U7 age group) sessions at in September. The sessions will take place in the Gym at Nicholas Breakspear School, Colney Heath Lane, St Albans, AL40TT, on Saturdays 10-11am during term-time. The first of these will take place on Saturday 10th September. The sessions will be managed by Darren Armoogum who is a local headteacher and experienced football coach.
