Football Operations Manager, St Albans City Youth FC
Remuneration Package: FTE £27,000 per annum based upon a 40-hour week, (equivalent to £21,600 per annum for a part time 32-hour week). Full details of the overall remuneration and benefits package are to be found in the attached job description.
St Albans City Youth FC are recruiting for a Football Operations Manager to help take the club to its next level of development. It is envisaged that the part time role will be approximately 32 hours per week (equivalent to 4 days every week) in a work pattern that is necessary to support the operational activities of the club.
St Albans City Youth FC was established in 1971, becoming a registered charity in 2001 and in the same year achieved accredited FA Charter Standard status. We enable the provision of football for over 1500 participants every week, through our thriving boys, girls and disability sectors. Over the last 20 years, the club has grown enormously to meet the growing needs of the local community, and is now one of the largest youth football clubs in the country.
The club is more than just a football club, and we reach out into the local community to deliver benefits beyond our core football operations. We run a successful community coaching programme and community sports projects. We also have close links with a considerable number of local and national businesses whose support and sponsorship of the club is invaluable, and we have a strong integral working partnership with St Albans City Football Club.
The club is run by a volunteer management committee, a volunteer Board of Trustees and of course, an army of volunteer coaches, managers and administrators who provide valuable and considerable support to enable our teams to flourish.
