Five City Youth Disability Coaches Carry the Paralympics’ Torch

The Coaches have been rewarded for their services to sport which sees them work in many Special Needs Centres and Schools as role models across the District.

Dan Rogers said ”Who would have believed that when I joined St Albans City Youth in 2005 with 5 members it would have grown to this”.

The coaches are clearly excited and want to thank everyone for their support. The Torch-bearing team, will carry the Paralympic Flame in the 24-hour Relay from Stoke Mandeville to London on 28 - 29 August 2012 and are already looking forward to it.
