City Youth Disability win the Championship!

City Youth Disability win the Championship!

The young Saints team clinched the Hertfordshire Disability Championship title at Panshanger FC on Sunday beating Hitchin Town who had provided stiff opposition all season. The St Albans Premiership Team finished as runners up having been pipped at the post by local rivals Harvesters FC.

It has been a fantastic season for the lads competing in the FA Disability Cup for the first time and progressing to the semi final of the Sunday Rymans Cup beating Bury Town on the way. As well as success in the local league. Everyone is pleased with the progress that has been made this year. Manager's Ben Kelly and Liam Dwyer look forward to next season with several ex-players already confirming they will be returning to the Club. Ben Kelly said "If we have enough players Community Coach Jack Swan will be able to run a third team."

The Saints will have a final game at Clarence Park on 10th May and will be able to show off its silverware at the Club's annual presentation at the Albans Arena on 15th June.
