St Albans City Youth FC Hosts Inclusive Football Festival
Saturday 11th July saw St Albans City Youth FC hosting the first of the season's series of inclusive football festivals where children of all abilities (aged 6-16, boys and girls) came along to the 3G AstroTurf pitches at Nicholas Breakspear School, St Albans to play football for fun.
Kindly supported by Hertfordshire FA, the St Albans City Youth FC event was a great success with participants from all over Hertfordshire taking part in football skills coaching and mini matches. Run by fully trained football coaches from the St Albans City Youth FC inclusive team, everyone had a chance to practice their football and enjoy a match without the pressure of a tournament.
St Albans City Youth FC will be hosting more football festivals during the 2015/16 football season. The St Albans City Youth FC Inclusive team also runs football training sessions every Saturday 10am to 12 including, throughout the Summer. This is a training session for all individuals of all abilities and is run in partnership with Special Olympics, St Albans.
