Away to Cheshunt 16 EJA in the County Cup were the St Albans City 16 EJA and they moved into the quarter-final stages of the cup after a 4-2 victory. The Saints took the lead after only two minutes play when following good work by Jarvis Wilkins saw the ball break loose inside the box which was coolly slotted home by THOMAS GELLER. Joe Williams then setup goal number two for MAX HODGSON to finish off and then it became 3-0 when after looking dangerous on the break saw Thomas Geller deliver a low ball to the near post which was duly despatched into the other corner of the net by JAMES LAWRENCE for a fine finish. Cheshunt pulled one back after a bit of pressure to make it 3-1 but with 15 minutes to go saw a quick break from Ryan Orde and he slotted the ball low across the box for JAMES LAWRENCE to race in and score his second goal of the match and make the scoreline 4-1.

Although Cheshunt pulled another goal back late to make it 4-2 there was no danger what’s so ever of the result and so the Saints move into the last eight of the county cup. The Saints man of the match went to Thomas Geller who was superb in the midfield and he also scored one goal and had one assist also.

The 16 Orient scored the first goal in their home match with Hemel Aces Hornets but after that the visitors hit back with some stinging finishing to win the game 6-1 with Joshua Daniel scoring the only goal for Orient whilst Bence Varga was named man of the match.

The excitement grew when Daniel Onochie Williams saw another effort trickle over the line to make it 3-2 but despite more pressure the equalising goal just would not come. The man of the match went to Jack Percy.

Benny Stacey also went close before the Saints 15 EJA started to open the floodgates on twenty minutes when JAMIE WILLING volleyed home at the back post following a great ball over from the right from Joe Vance.

JOE VANCE scored goal number two when he flicked the ball over an oncoming defender's head whereupon he smashed the ball into the far-left corner to make it 2-0.
