HERTS BOYS DEVELOPMENT FOOTBALL LEAGUE.

The Under 8's East defied the weather and played a match against Wheathampstead Wanderers Sharks and they scored two goals and scoring them were Lois Bart and Joshua Smith with Harry Brewer steely showing plenty of determination to win the man of the match award.

The next Under 8's East's match saw them play Watton Youth on a boggy pitch and following a great all-round team performance with two goals from Harry Brewer and two from Louis Burt. The man of the match went to Thomas H who gave a solid display, particularly in defence.

Next up were the Under 11's South and they played in two 2-2 draws and the first one was against Bedwell Rangers on a muddy Stevenage pitch with goals from Ollie Saunders and Daniel Novotny in this solid team performance.  In the next match saw them play Wodston and this time it was Ross Wilson and Ashton Balding who scored the goals whilst both Finlay Seabrook and Ollie Saunders gave strong displays in midfield.

The Under 11's Orient had three matches for me to report on and firstly we start with their match against Bury Rangers Black and scoring four goals for them was the deadly marksman Louis Chen. Also getting amongst the goals were Billy Stone, Thomas Winterbottom, and Harry Taylor.  Their next game saw them play Welwyn Pegasus Cyans and once again Louis Chen was amongst the goals this time with a brace whilst both Zak Stamp and Austin Shepherd scored one apiece. In their third and final match they played Wodson Park and scoring one goal each for the young Saints were Nathaniel Parsons, Harry Taylor, Tom Winterbottom whilst yes that man again Louis Chen popped up with another two goals.
