  HERTS GIRLS PARTNERSHIP

The STACY Girls 16's North played the only game in their division over the weekend and they continued their good start with yet another win when they beat Herts Girls at home by five goals to two. Scoring these goals were player of the match Esme Hume with two and then Kiera Ward with two and finally Andrea Leonidas with one.

The STACY Girls 15 South lost 4-1 against Potters Bar United with Mia Simmonds scoring the only goal for the South. The player of the match went to new signing this season goalkeeper Ella Thornton who produced some great saves during the match and she was really confident in her positioning plus Ella also distributed the ball well from out of the back.

The STACY Girls North took a 1-0 lead at home to Stevenage Starlets who were undefeated all last season with a finely taken strike from Esme Dickson but two defensive errors, one just before the break and another one near the end let Stevenage into snatch a 2-1 win.

Reese Anscomb scored the only goal for the STACY Girls 13 Wildcats in their 3-1 defeat by Goff’s Oak with midfielder Imogen Siery picking up the player of the match trophy for the Wildcats.

Also losing were the STACY Girls 12 Central and they went down 7-1 to Ruislip Rangers Clarets with Alicia Gibson scoring the only goal for Central.

Well you can't say there were not in any goals in this match as the game finally ended 5-5 between the STACY Girls 12 Wildcats and Hemel Aces with the Wildcats taking the lead four times but they saw the Hemel team instantly hit back and also the Hemel custodian was in brilliant form and so she was voted the Hemel player of the match by the Wildcats. Scoring the goals for the 12 Wildcats were Maya Till 2 Chloe Nuthall 2 and Emily Clarke with one whilst the player of the match for the Wildcats was Konni Hobbs who had a brilliant game against one of the Hemel forwards.

On a very wet pitch saw the STACY Girls 11 Wildcats and their match was against Hitchin Belles and there were also plenty of goals in this match as well with the player of the match for the 11 Wildcats Lizzie Bayliss scoring four goals whilst Georgia Tongue also got on the scoresheet as well and there could have been more goals if those chances did not stop on the line on the wet pitch.

The STACY Girls 10 Romans were playing Meniinas and Lucy Leonard got the match off to a good start with a goal following some blistering pace down the wing and player of the match Izzy Marriot also scored one whilst another fierce effort from struck the foot of the post. Lucy Carter played well, and she also went close with a shot that went narrowly wide of the far upright.

The STACY Girls 10 Central had a good game against Ware Youth Girls and during the first half saw the Central score goals through Daisy Oaten, Poppy Miller and Nell McKinistry. In the second period saw Poppy Miller score two more goals one of which was a penalty and in goal for Central saw Megan Cohen have a brilliant game between the sticks. The Coach's player of the match went to Amber Fells who made some dazzling runs down both wings and in doing so created great opportunities for the team to score their goals during the game.

The STACY Girls 9 Romans took part in a very high scoring game with Meninas Recife which saw both sides score the same number of goals each. Scoring five goals for the Romans was Nadeen Kelifa Young whilst Ellie Roberts got a brace and Olivia Williams scored a single. The player of the match went to the versatile Emily Watts.
