The St Albans City Youth Quiz.
A big thank you to everyone who attended the Club Quiz Evening that was organised to support the St Albans City Youth Touring Teams.
We had 19 teams taking part in the quiz and the winning team of "Egg Heads" won by only 2 points.
The Touring Teams did well as we were able to raise £1500 on the night which means that £750 can be used to help the teams to complete the fundraising for their trip.
This year St Albans have a record 9 teams Touring this year so we wish them well.
NEWS. We are participating in The Dragons’ Apprentice Challenge 2013. This unique CVS St Albans project has matched us with a team of 6th formers (the Apprentices) and a local business mentor (the Dragon!) to turn £100 into £1000 or more….. for us! We are delighted to be part of this and will benefit by raised awareness of our work plus the money raised has no strings attached so we can prioritise how it is used. The 6th formers gain a unique project to add to their CV plus experience of working in a business setting and the business mentors enjoy contributing in a very hands on way in their community. This year Sandringham School are supporting St Albans City Youth Community Football Club.

They are proud of their girls’ teams, boys’ teams and especially proud of their 4 special needs teams which open the fun to less able young people.
